Visualization analysis of research literature on diabetes specialist nurses in China based on CiteSpace

Objective:To analyze the research literatures of diabetes specialist nurses in China,and to explore the research hotspots and development trends of diabetes specialist nurses,so as to provide reference for the related research of diabetes specialist nurses.Methods:The literatures collected in CNKI database from database-building to April 2021 were searched with the literature of diabetes specialist nurses,and CiteSpace was used for bibliometric analysis.Results:A total of 257 articles were retrieved,the volume of articles increased but on the low side in general.The institution with the largest number of articles was the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University.The largest research hotspots were health education,and the research frontier was basic insulin.Conclusion:The study of diabetes specialist nurses started late and is at a steady stage of development in China.In the future,attention should be paid to the training of scientific research ability and post setting of diabetes specialist nurses,the multicenter cooperation and exchanges between institutions and authors,and the breadth and depth of research should be strengthened to promote the development of diabetes specialist nursing.
