Abstract:
The electroretinographic system is stimulated with sinusoidal light signals at various frequencies. Such steady state responses indicate that the system contains two frequency ranges a low frequency nonlinear range and a higher frequency essentially linear range. The transitional frequency range is from about 3–5 c/s. Reduction of stimulus amplitude at low frequency does not indicate any significant linearization.
