识别保护性B细胞抗原表位从而引发中和抗体产生和体液免疫,是特异性免疫反应的物质基础,因此,研究可被中和抗体识别的保护性B细胞抗原表位对促进基础免疫学发展、感染诊断、相关疫苗特别是多肽疫苗的研发、药物靶点筛选等具有积极意义.虽然此类表位多为构象型,研究难度较大,但随着免疫学和生物信息学技术的发展,已出现许多有效思路与方法.此文综述目前构象型B细胞抗原表位的研究方法及进展.

Methods and advances in study of conformational B cell epitopes

Recognition of protective B cell epitopes that leads to neutralizing antibody production and humoral immune response is the material basis of specific immune reactions,thus the study of neutralizing antibody-recognizable B cell epitopes plays a vital role in the advance of fundamental immunology,infection diagnosis,related vaccines especially polypeptide vaccines development,and drug target screening.Although studying these epitopes presents great difficulty as they are mostly conformational,several efficient methods have evolved with the development of immunology and bioinformatics.This paper reviews methods and the advance in research on conformational B cell epitopes.
