| Abstract: | Neonatal and 8-week-old rats were inoculated with Mycoplasma pulmonis. A portion of the animals developed polyarthritis. Indirect immunoperoxidase staining was used to identify the localization of M. pulmonis within arthritic joints. M. pulmonis antigen was most often observed within cartilage in the neonatal group and in synovial tissue in the 8-week-old group. |
