Effect of Cervical Dilation Balloon on Promoting Cervical Maturation and Successful Induction of Labor inTerm Pregnancy

Objective:To explore the application effect of cervical dilatation balloon on cervical ripening and successful induction of labor in term pregnancy.Methods:80 full-term primiparas who gave birth in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2019 were included as subjects.40 primiparas who were admitted first were taken as control group and treated with oxytocin to promote cervical ripening.40 primiparas who were admitted later were taken as observation group and treated with cervical dilatation balloon to promote cervical ripening,cervical Bishop score was used to evaluate the cervical ripening effect of the two groups of puerperas,and the successful induced labor conditions were recorded to compare the clinical application effects.Results:There was no significant difference in cervical Bishop score between the two groups before induction of labor(P>0.05).The Bishop score of cervix and the success rate of induced labor within 12 hours after labor induction in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Cervical dilatation balloon has excellent effect in promoting cervical ripening and successful induction of labor in term pregnancy.
