Abstract: | We report the case of a newborn with macrosomia, extensive subcutaneous fat necrosis and symptomatic hypercalcemia. Low doses of prednisone were efficient, while dietary intervention, hyperhydratation and furosemide were not. Treatment of hypercalcemia in this specific neonatal condition are discussed. |
