| Abstract: | A women with stage I-II primary biliary cirrhosis was treated with ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA). During UDCA treatment a notable improvement in biochemical liver profile was achieved. Liver histology did not deteriorate after one year UDCA. UDCA offers a promising non-toxic alternative in the treatment of PBC. |
