Qualitative Research About the Innerly Real Experiences of Frontline Nurses of Primary Hospitals in Fighting Against the COVID-19 Pandemic

Objective The innerly real experiences of frontline nurses of primary hospitals in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic were understood,so as to take targeted measures to meet their needs and promote the prevention and control of the pandemic successfully.Methods A total of 12 nurses were interviewed by descriptive phenomenological research method and the Colaizzi 7-step analysis method was used for data analysis.Results Three main themes were extracted,i.e.,knowledge of infection control and protection needed to be improved,the physical and mental experiences of participating in the prevention and control of the pandemic,factors that affected physical and mental feelings.Conclusion The training about the knowledge of infection control and protection for frontline nurses of primary hospitals in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic should be strengthen and the emergency management measures should be improved to ensure the needs of frontline nurses and strengthen psychological counseling.
