| Abstract: | Objective： To investigate the preventive effect of thymosin alpha1 on nosocomial pneumonia in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods： A total of 58 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups： thymosin alpha 1 group and control group.The incidence of nosocomial pneumonia,the level of C-reactive protein（CRP） and white blood cell（WBC） count were observed and compared.Result： The incidence rate of sonocomial pneumonia was significantly lower（P〈0.05）,and the level of CRP and WBC count were improved significantly in thymosin alpha 1 group（P〈0.05）.Conclusions： Thymosin alpha1 can prevent cerebral infarction patients from nosocomial pneumonia. |
