The application of direct coronary artery intervention via radial artery in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction

Objective： To explore the effect of direct coronary artery intervention via radial artery on acute myocardial infarction.Methods： A total of 28 acute myocardial infarction cases with percutaneous coronary artery intervention were selected,including 16 cases via radial artery（radial artery group） and 12 cases via femoral artery（femoral artery group）.Results： Average operation time was（62.75±12.8）min in radial artery group,and（61.35±11.3）min in femoral artery group,without significant difference in two groups（P〉0.05）.There was no significant difference in TIMI Ⅲ level,smoking,low blood pressure,ventricular fibrillation（P〉0.05）.The incidence of complications of radial artery group were significantly less than that of femoral artery（P〈0.05）.Conclusions： Radial artery intervention might be potential therapy method for acute myocardial infarction.
