人体寄生虫学多媒体素材库的建立与应用

摘    要:目的:收集、加工有关人体寄生虫学图片及视频资料,应用数据库及网页制作技术建立通过网络或光盘方式提供多媒体教学所需的多媒体素材库。方法:通过扫描、互联网、数码显微镜、录像模数转换等手段获取图片及视频数码资料,经图像或视频软件加工处理后.按寄生虫学分类系统及素材内容分类编码,用Access数据库技术及FrongPage和Active Server Pages网页制作等技术,构建内容丰富、界面友好、检索方便的多媒体素材库,以网站的形式置于校园网服务器上.通过intranet或internet提供服务,同时制作单机光盘版。结果:收集、加工、制作近200种寄生虫的图片3000余幅.视频片段近百条.内容涉及寄生虫的形态、生活史、致病、诊断;应用计算机技术建立人体寄生虫学多媒体素材库网络版和光盘版,为网络用户及单机用户提供服务。结论:专业多媒体素材库内容系统齐全、信息量大.使用方便;最大限度地减少教师在收集、加工多媒体素材时的人力、物力和财力投入.可满足不同专业、层次多媒体教学需要;一定程度解决了实验教学标本短缺的问题,在提高实验教学效果、改进实验考核方式以及减轻教师劳动强度等方面起到重要作用。

Abstract:Objectives To collect and modify the multimedia data (images and video materials) about humanparasites and establish a professional multimedia database so as to support the teaching and learning of parasitology with a CAIor on-line instrument by way of computerized technology. Methods Database materials are obtained through computerizedscanning, websites and digital microscopy, and the analog signals are transformed into digital ones. The images and videomaterials are processed and coded in accordance with parasitological categorization by way of computerized technology. A richmultimedia database is thus established with convenient interface. Installed on either the Intranet or Internet, the database iseasy to retrieve as it is based on such software as Access, FrontPage and Active Server Pages. A laser disc version of thedatabase is also available for personal use. Results Over 3000 pictures and about 100 video segments of some 200parasites have been collected, processed to study the morphology, life cycle and pathogenesis of these parasites as well asclinical diagnosis of disorders in which they are involved. Service for such purposes is then offered to both online andindividual users with this professional multimedia database. Conclusions The database is rich in contents, profound ininformation and convenient to use for various purposes. It may save the instructors a great deal of time, funds and energy intheir teaching of parasitology. Materials in the database can be useful in both the lab work and examinations of the students,improve the aging problem of teaching samples, and thus help reduce the workload of the instructors.
