Detection of helicobacter pylori infection in children

Helicobacter pylori(HP) is one of the most common causes of infection, and children is the most dangerous susceptible population. The majority of children have transient or continuing infection of HP. Many diseases of digestive system (peptic ulcer, chronic gastritis, chronic diarrhea, and repeated abdominal pain, etc.) all have a close association with HP infection, and they are also related to a lot of parenteral diseases (iron-deficiency anemia, urticaria, etc.). So, it is important to find rapid, accurate detection methods suitable for children. This article reviewed the diagnostic method of HP infection, influential factors, and availability to the children.
