连山少数民族地区新生儿地中海贫血筛查结果分析

目的了解广东省连山少数民族地区地中海贫血的发生情况,探讨产前筛查地中海贫血的意义。方法用地中海贫血一管定量法,查出地中海贫血溶血率。结果于2004年4月至2005年3月对508例新生儿脐血进行筛查,检出地中海贫血表现阳性24人,发生率为4.72%。结论开展地中海贫血预防控制计划,进行遗传学宣传,引导群众认识和接受婚前检查、产前检查十分重要,对杜绝重型地中海贫血儿童的出生,提高本地区人口素质意义重大。

Result Analysis About the Neonatal Thalassemid Screening in the Region of Minority Nationality in Lianshan Area of Guangdong Province

OBJECTIVE To understand the condition of occurrence of Thalassemia in the region of minority nationality in Lianshan area of Guangdong Province,and to evaluate the meaning of prenatal screening of thalassemia.METHODS Using the auantitative method to detect the riemolysts rate of thalassemia.RESULTS According to 508 cases of neonatal cord blood screening for Thalassemia from April 2004 to March 2005,24 cases were positive.The incidence was 4.72%.CONCLUSION The Thalassemia preventive and control program development,the propagandism of the Genetics and the direction of people knowing and accepting the premarital examinations and prenatal check are important and meaningful to the termination of thalassemia major of newborn and the improvement of population quality.
