Study on the mechanism of hyperbaric oxygen plus compound Huangbai solution on promoting wound healing and anti-inflammation after perianal abscess surgery

Objective:To investigate the clinical effects and anti-inflammatory mechanism of hyperbaric oxygen plus the Fufang Huangbai liquid pigmentum(复方黄柏液涂剂)on wound healing after perianal abscess surgery.Methods:120 cases were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,60 cases in each.The control group took conventional dressing changes after surgery.The observation group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen with the Fufang Huangbai liquid pigmentum.Results:There was no significant difference in serum inflammatory factors IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α between the groups before treatment(P>0.05).On the 7th day after surgery,the levels of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-αin the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,the difference between the groups is statistically significant(P<0.05).On the 7th and 14th day after the operation,the proportion of wound macrophages of the patients in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05),and the number of new capillaries and fibroblasts was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the scores of TCM symptoms and signs of the patients on the 3 rd day after surgery(P>0.05).The scores of TCM symptoms and signs of the patients in the observation group on the 7th and 14th day after surgery were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Wound healing time in the observation group was signifianctly shorter than the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total efficiency(P>0.05).Conclusion:Hyperbaric oxygen plus the Fufang Huangbai liquid can reduce postoperative wound edema of perianal abscess,significantly inhibit inflammatory response,accelerate angiogenesis of granulation tissue,and effectively promote postoperative wound healing of perianal abscess patients,which is worthy of promotion and application in clinic.
