| Abstract: | In this paper, a problem-focused model of supervision is critically examined based on the underlying assumptions of the brief therapy model. A case study, including an actual transcript, illustrates and clarifies how these assumptions guide supervision and how the model can be applied to resolve a therapist's difficulties in therapy. |
