食管癌血管内皮生长因子表达与预后的关系

目的探讨食管癌血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)与预后的关系。方法选择100例原发性食管癌手术切除的标本进行免疫组织化学染色,确定其VEGF的表达及微血管密度,并对患者进行随访,调查术后1、2、5年生存率。结果食管癌VEGF蛋白表达的阳性率为69.0%,微血管密度(MVD值)26.69±21.68,术后1、2、5年生存率分别为69.0%、50.0%、16.0%。VEGF表达阴性、阳性者间比较,MVD值有显著性差异(P<0.05),术后5年生存率有显著性差异穴P<0.05雪。结论食管癌VEGF表达水平与肿瘤血管新生强度、外科治疗预后密切相关。

Relationship between expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in esophagus carcinoma and prognosis

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of VEGF in primary esophageal carcinoma and the postoperative prognosis.Methods Surgical specimens from 100 patients with primary esophageal carcinoma were examined for VEGF expression and microvascular density(MVD) by immunohistochemical staining. All of the 100 cases were followed up. Results Sixty-nine (69.0%) of the 100 cases were positive for VEGF protein expression. MVD of all these carcinomas scored 26.69±21.68. There was a correlation between the VEGF expression positivity and the MVD (P<0.05). The one-year survival rate after operation of these cases was 69.0%, and two-year 50.0%, five-year 16.0% respectively. There was a close correlation between the VEGF expression positivity and the prognosis of these cases later 5 years after operation(P<0.05).Conclusion The VEGF expression positivity is well related to the tumor angiogenesis and the prognosis.
