老視理論及治療進展

老視是一種常見的眼部退行性病燮,表現為年齡相關性調節力下降,它影響到每一個老年人.隨着全新的Schachar調節理論的提出以及傳統理論的發展,近年來出現了多種老視治瘵方法.目前除了通過各種框架眼鏡和接觸鏡來矯正老視,還可以應用手術方法如前睫狀區鞏膜切開術(ACS)以及鞏膜擴張(SRP)來恢復調節能力.采用人工晶狀體植入形成單眼視,多焦黠人工晶狀體,可調節型人工晶狀體,LASIK手術也都是可行的老視治瘵措施.本文總結了目前有關老視的各種機制和治瘵方法.

Presbyopia--advances in theory and treatment

Presbyopia is the most prevalent of all ocular afflictions characterized as a progressive age-related loss of accommodative amplitude and ultimately affecting 100% of the population during the normal human life span. Based on the new accommodation theory of Schachar and other advancing traditional hypothesis, many treatments appeared in these several years. Current options to alleviate presbyopia include spectacles and contact lenses, offering pseudo-accommodation. Besides these, many surgical methods such as antereior ciliary sclerotomy (ACS) and surgical reversal of presbyopia (SRP) now are being performed that claim lo actually restore accommodation in presbyopes. Monovision intraocular lenses (IOLs). mullifocal IOLs and accommodative IOLs now are available for presbyopia. Refractive surgery procedures using laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) also provide alternative options for presbyopia. The mechanism of accommodation, the theories of presbyopia, and these new techniques that have developed to reverse presbyopia in the human eve will be reviewed here.
