| 摘 要： | 高等医学院校的英语教学应当包括基础英语和医学专业英语两部分。目前虽然医学专业英语教学日益受到重视,但依然是大学英语教学中的难点。通过分析医科学生潜在及现实的需求,以及在医学专业英语教学中普遍存在的具有挑战性的问题,找出可行的应对措施,探索医学院校如何成功地实施专业英语教学。

| Abstract: | Medical English teaching in medical universities has received more and more recognition from college english teachers and students;however,not much experience has been gained in this area.The paper focuses on the urgent need for implementation of medical English in medical universities.Some of emerged common challenges,such as identifying or developing appropriate content,developing sufficient expertise across disciplines,and institutionalizing the efforts are discussed in details in the paper. |
