卵巢交界性粘液上皮肿瘤的组织化学及超微结构观察

本文分别对147、13和15例卵巢粘液性上皮肿瘤进行了粘液组织化学、酶组织化学和超微结构的研究。结果表明交界性粘液上皮肿瘤的粘液组成、糖代谢方式及超微结构均介于良性瘤和恶性瘤间的中间状态,其性质属潜在恶性。本结果支持其为一种独立类型的肿瘤。

AN OBSERVATION OF THE HISTOCHEMISTRY AND ULTRASTRUCTURE OF THE BORDERLINE OVARIAN MUCINOUS EPITHELIAL TUMOR

The studies of the mucinous histo-chemistry in 147 cases, the enzymatic histo-chemistry in 13 cases,and the ultrastructurein 15 cases of ovarian mucinous epithelialtumor (OMET) were made respectively.The nature of the mucus, the content oflactic acid dehydrogenase (LDH), and theultrastructure of the tumor cells were com-pared among the benign, borderline andmalignant OMET which were diagnosed ac-cording to the histopathological diagnosticcriteria which were suggested by the authorin another article (Acta Academiae Medici-nae Sichuan 1984; 15 (4): 91). The resultsshow that the benign OMET contains main-ly neutral mucus and the malignant OMETcontains mainly acid mucus while the bor-derline OMET contains less neutral mucusthan the benign and less acid mucus thanthe malignant. The contents of both neu-tural and acid mucus in these three typesof OMET have highly significant difference.As to the content of LDH, the benign typehas a little, and the malignant has abun-dants while the borderline has moderate.Inthe study of ultrastructures, the borderlinOMET has some features of both benignand malignant types. These findings indi-cate that the borderline OMET is the in-termediate state between the benign andmalignant counterparts in mucinous compo-nents, the way of glycometabolism and theultrastructural level. The authors believethat the borderline OMET shou1d be re-garded as potenially malignant and as anentity.
