123例健康中老年人左心室重量的超声测值

目的建立健康中老年人超声心动图测定的左心室重量(LVM)和左心室重量指数(LVMI)及左心室室壁相对厚度(RWT)的正常值。方法对123例中老年健康体检者，以超声心动图测定舒张末期室间隔厚度(IVST)、左心室后壁厚度(PWT)及左心室内径(LVIDd)，计算LVM、LVMI以及RWT。结果123例健康中老年人的LVMI男女分别为(85.60±15.52)g/m

Measurement of LeftVentricular Mass by Echocardiography in 123 Healthy Middle-aged and Elderly Persons

Objective:To establish the normal values of left ventriuclar mass(LVM),LVM index(LVMI)and the relative wall thickness(RWT)m easured by echocardiography in healhty middle-aged and elderly persons.Methods：The thickness of interventricular septum(IVST),l eft ventricular posterior wall(PWT)and the left ventricular internal diameter(LV IDd)were measured at the end of diastole by echocardiography.The LVM,LVMI and RW T were calculated in 123 healthy middle-aged and elderly persons.Results:The LVMI in healhty middle-aged and elderly male and female were (85.60±15.52)g/m2 and (82.53±13.64)g/m2 and the corespondi ng values of the upper 95% confidence limits were≤116.6g/m2 and≤1 09.5g/m2 respectively.The RWT in both male and female were 0.35±0.04，and the upper 95% confidence limits were≤0.43.Conclusions:In healthy middle-aged and elderly persons the no rmal values of LVMI in male and female are≤116.6g/m2 and ≤109.5g/m2 resp ectively,and those of RWT in both male and female are≤0.43.
