摘    要:目的研发血液存储与输注的聚丙烯材料。方法采用预辐照(15 kGy)与反应加工相结合的方法,将2种分子量分别为300和475的聚乙二醇单甲醚甲基丙烯酸酯接枝到聚丙烯的分子链上,予以接枝产物通过红外光谱表征,接枝产物力学性能通过拉伸试验予以表征,材料的亲水性通过静态水接触角予以表征,血液相容性通过蛋白质吸附和血小板吸附予以表征。结果聚丙烯接枝产物的最低拉伸强度和断裂伸长率分别为32 MPa和780%,仅略低于纯聚丙烯材料的拉伸强度(39 Mpa)和断裂伸长率(900%)。与纯聚丙烯材料相比,接枝聚丙烯材料表面形成了亲水性膜,牛血清蛋白吸附量和血小板粘附量分别降低70%和80%,有效提高了聚丙烯材料的血液相容性。结论聚丙烯材料的表面结构经过调控,能有效提高其血液相容性,用做聚烯烃类血液存储与输注的材料。

Application of polypropylene materials on the blood storage and transfusion

Abstract:Objective To develop the polypropylene(PP)materials for blood storage and transfusion.Methods The poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate(PEGMEMA)was grafted onto PP by the combination of pre-irradiation and reactive extrusion techniques.The grafted samples were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy,and the mechanical properties of grafted samples were determined by tensile tests.The hydrophilicity was evaluated by a Drop Shape Analysis and the hemocompatibility was evaluated by protein adsorption and platelet adhesion.Results The tensile modulus and elongation at break of grafted samples were 32 MPa and 780%,respectively,which was similar to those of neat PP.The hydrophilic layer was formed on the surface of neat PP,and the absorption of Bovine Serum Albumin and adhesion of plasma platelet on the surface of grafted samples decreased 70% and 80% compared to adsorption on the surface of neat PP,respectively.These results provided the direct evidence of high compatibility of grafted samples.Conclusion The PP was qualified to produce blood storage and transfusion productions after improving its hemocompatibility by surface modification.
