摘    要:目的:通过检测正常根尖周组织和实验性根尖周炎进展过程中根尖周组织血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)免疫组化表达的分布情况及规律,探讨其在根尖周组织炎症进展中的作用。方法:HE染色与VEGF免疫组化染色,光镜观察大鼠根尖周炎进展情况和VEGF在根尖周组织的表达部位与程度,检测VEGF表达阳性部位的平均积分光密度值。结果:根尖孔周围炎性浸润区、根尖周内芽组织及吸收程度严重的根尖周骨组织中,VEGF表达较正常组强,并有随牙髓暴露时间增长而逐渐增高趋势。结论:VEGF参与根尖周炎症的进展及肉芽组织形成,可能参与调节根尖骨吸收。

Abstract:Objective:To detect the expression and distribution of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) during the development of periapical lesions and thus explore the role VEGF of in periapical lesions. Methods:The maxillas of rats whose pulp were exposed for different times or unexposed were sampled. After heatoxylin-eosin staining or immunohistochemical staining, the development of periapical lesions was observed under light microscope, and the expression and distribution of VEGF in periapical lesions were determined. The average integrated optical density (AIOD) of VEGF-positive site in periapical tissue was detected. Results:The expression of VEGF in inflammation-infiltrated periapical tissue, granuloma, and alveolar bone with severe absorption was stronger than that in normal periapical tissue. The AIOD value of VEGF-positive site in the periapical tissue increased gradually with the prolongation of dental pulp-exposed time. Conclusions:VEGF may play important roles in the pathogenesis of periapical lesions and participate in the regulation of alveolar bone absorption.
