Multiple Sclerosis and Voiding Dysfunction in Women

Multiple sclerosis is a neurological disorder that often progresses to disability. Lower urinary tract symptoms and voiding dysfunction are common, and due to the complex and changing nature of the disease process, they are often difficult to treat. In this review, we attempt to summarize the pathophysiology and epidemiology of multiple sclerosis and to provide information on the urological evaluation and treatment of these patients.
