| Abstract: | Six infants and children with medium-chain acyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenase deficiency were found to have hyperuricemia during an acute episode. Hyperuricemia may be a clue to the diagnosis of medium-chain acyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenase deficiency. |
