| Abstract: | Zusammenfassung Fehlindikationen und Fehlbehandlungen maligner kindlicher Knochentumoren sind nur dadurch zu vermeiden, daß eine frühzeitige sichere Diagnose durch Röntgenbild und histologischen Befund gestellt wird. Zweifelhafte, atypische Fälle lassen sich am besten durch gemeinsame Beratung von Chirurgen, Röntgenologen und Pathologen klären. Nur so kann man hoffen, daß die schlechte Prognose gebessert wird.
Summary Erroneous indications and erroneous treatment of malignant juvenile bone tumours can only be avoided by making an early definite diagnosis by radiographs and biopsy. Doubtful, atypical cases can best be clarified by joint consultations of the surgeon, radiologist, and pathologist. Only in this manner can it be hoped that the poor prognosis will be improved. |
