| Abstract: | These guidelines are applicable to adult patients with symptoms, tissue damage, or both the result from the reflux of gastric content into the esophagus,for the purpose of these guidelines, GERD is defined as symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into esophagus. |
