摘    要:鲨烯为6个异戊二烯双键组成的类萜结构化合物C_(30)H_(50)。本文作者参照Willett法提取的鲨烯对老年长跑队员进行了耐力运动与生化代谢效应试验,发现服药组在定量负荷运动试验时耗氧量显著下降,动静脉血氧分压显著升高,提示服用外源性鲨烯能促进组织对氧的利用与体内能量的节省化。

Abstract:This article reports an important biochemical substance, squalene, which was extracted from sharkliver. Its structure was analysed by infrared spectrum, NMR spectrum and mass spectrum and for car-bon-hydrogen elements. It was found that it coincided with analogous products from England andJapan. Animal experiments demonstrated that squalene is a safe biochemical agent without any side-effect. Exercise tolerance test, oxygen and energy consumption, and some biochemical activities werestudied on aged joggers. The results indicated that oral administration of exogenous squalene gavemulti-functional aid to the body. It is not only beneficial to the utilization of oxygen in tissues, butalso saves the consumption of energy. Its action may improve the cardiac function and general toler-ance. However, there are no changes of blood lipids, urea nitrogen, cellular and humoral immunityafter oral administration of squalene for one month.
