The 4 suggestions for Chinese Medicine name standard- ization is to indicate correct Pinyin and tone of Chinese medicine name in Pharmacopoeia and Chinese Medicine Textbooks; and the department in charge should establish the corresponding system to restrain, then Traditional Chinese medical students and practitioners must remain serious scientific attitude; Knowledge popularization of Chinese medicine name should be publi- cized with extensive use of the mass media. The correct pronunciation of Chinese medicine name is not only the demand of academic standardization, standardization, but also has very important and far-reaching significance of the dissemination of Chinese medicine knowledge, domestic and foreign medical exchanges, discipline and inter industry communication, as well as the modernization and internationalization of TCM; The standardization work on read and write of Chinese medicine name must be carried out well.
