| Abstract: | We describe the modification in one of the passages of the technique of subtotal laryngectomy with epiglottoplasty, consisting of the opening of larynx through the thyroid membrane. This maneuver improves the visualization of the tumor facilitating the time of its removal and later reconstruction. |
