Changes of Th1/Th2 cytokines and immunological reaction state in unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion women

Objective To investigate the changes of T lymphocytes subsets and Th1/Th2 related cytokines in unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion(URSA) women.Methods The flow cytometry(FCM) was used to detect CD3 ,CD4 ,CD8 T lymphocyte and CD16 CD56 Natural Killer(NK) cell subsets and the ratio of CD4 /CD8 of peripheral blood(PBL);ELISA was used to detect the concentrations of Th1/Th2 cytokines.A total of 65 cases of URSA patients were studied and 30 cases of normal fertiled women as the control group.Results The percentages of CD4 ,CD16 CD56 cell subsets and the ratio of CD4 /CD8 as well as Th1 related cytokines of the URSA patients were significantly higher than those of normal fertiled women(P<0.05).Whereas the percentages of CD8 cell subsets and Th2 related cytokines were significantly lower than those of normal fertiled women(P<0.05).Conclusion The changes in the percentages of T lympyocyte and NK cell subsets and the polarization of Th1/Th2 subset have something to do with URSA.
