| Abstract: | The purpose of the reaction panel is to assess the group discussion reports, “What Should Public Health Be ?” and “How to Get to the Should.” The panel members were asked to comment on the points they believe were especially significant for future development in dental public health for North Carolina. The panel participants were the four speakers from the initial session of the symposium, including Dr. George Dudney, Dr. John Stamm, Dr. Stephen Corbin, and Dr. Linda Niessen. The reactions to the group discussions are of special value to the participants at the symposium. However, the comments should be helpful and informative to any group involved in planning the future of dental health in local communities or statewide programs. |
