Effect of Detailed Nursing on Postoperative Expectorating Efficiency and Coping Style in Patients Undergoing Radical Resection of Esophageal Carcinoma

Objective:To explore the effect of detailed nursing on postoperative expectorating efficiency and coping style in patients undergoing radical resection of esophageal carcinoma.Methods:A total of 200 patients with esophageal carcinoma who underwent radical resection of esophageal carcinoma were randomly divided into the control group and the intervention group,100 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing.The intervention group was given detailed nursing on the basis of routine nursing,and comparison was made between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of expectoration in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The facing scores were higher in patients in the intervention group on 7 d after operation than those on the first day(P<0.05),and the avoiding or yielding scores were lower than those on the first day(P<0.05).The facing scores in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group on 7 d after operation(P<0.05),and the avoiding and yielding scoreswere lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The expectoration index had significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Detailed nursing can improve the postoperative expectorating efficiency of patients undergoing radical resection of esophageal carcinoma,and improve the coping style of patients to the disease.
