Abstract:Objective To comprehensively evaluate the correlation between carotid atherosclerosis and the severity of coronary heart disease using ultrasound technology.Methods 268 patients with carotid artery plaque were selected,including 147 patients with coronary heart disease in the coronary heart disease group and 121 patients without coronary heart disease in the no-coronary heart disease group.Ultrasonic scanning was used to measure carotid intima-media thickness(IMT),and VPQ software was used to obtain relevant parameters of carotid plaque automatically.The basic data of two groups of gender,smoking history,diabetes history and hypertension history and carotid plaque related ultrasound parameters were analyzed,and the correlation between carotid atherosclerosis related parameters and the degree of coronary artery disease was analyzed.Results The GSM and IMT values of carotid plaque in patients with coronary heart disease were significantly different from those in noncoronary heart disease group(P<0.05).The total blood cholesterol,triglyceride,and low-density lipoprotein were statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05),and the coronary heart disease group was higher than the non-coronary heart disease group.Further analysis shows that with the increase in the number of coronary artery lesions involved and the increase of Gensini score,IMT is positively correlated with it,while GSM is negatively correlated.Comparison between coronary heart disease group and non-coronary heart disease group,there was no statistically significant difference with respect to age,gender,smoking history,diabetes history,hypertension history,high density lipoprotein,plaque thickness,plaque volume,vascular lumen area,tube wall area and standardized tube wall(P>0.05).Conclusion Quantitative analysis of carotid atherosclerosis related parameters using ultrasound technology has certain reference value in the clinical prediction of coronary heart disease.
