0～6岁小儿体重、身高生长纵向观察

纵向随访432名(男234、女198)0～6岁地段小儿的体重和身长(高)。地段小儿体格生长超过1985年上海市标准,但自8个月起落后于WHO生长参考值,直到2.5岁及5岁时,身长和体重分别达到WHO生长参考值。根据连续两次测量值的绝对增值计算生长速度,与Tanner的英国小儿生长速度比较,地段小儿在最初2～3个月生长速度超过英国小儿,但此后减慢。身高速度在18个月赶上,体重速度在3岁赶上。提示离乳期是我国小儿生长的关键时期。

A LONGITUDINAL STUDY OF GROWTH IN WEIGHT AND HEIGHT BETWEEN 0-6 YEARS

432 children (male 234, femal 198) born between july 1980 and june 1982 were studied longitudinally. Their weight and height were measured regularly from birth to 6 years. The mean weigth and length curves were compared with that of growth standards of Shanghai (1985) and the WHO growth reference. The weight and height of these children studied exceeded that of Shanghai standards, but fell below the WHO growth reference after 8 months of age. It was not until they were two and half years old did the children's height approach up the WHO reference, weight measurements reached reference standards as late as when they reached 5 years old.According to absolute increments of weight and height measured successively, the 3 rd, 25 th, 50 th, 75 th, and 97th percentiles of growth velocity were calculated by SPSS software. The velocities of growth in the first 2-3 months of children s tudied exceeded that of Tanner's English children, and then they gradually fell behind. The height growth velocity caught up with Tanner's means when the children were 18 months old, while the weight growth velocity equaled Tanner's means at 3 years of age.This study indicates that the weaning age of Chinese children is the crucial period of growth and these growth velocity data can serve as references for growth monitoring of Chinese children.
