摘    要:试图运用图式理论来解释阅读过程,并分析医学生对专业阅读材料不能正确理解的原因。探讨图式理论在医学专业英语阅读中的作用并提出图式理论在医学阅读教学中的具体设想,即教师应在阅读教学过程中调动学生已有的图式知识创建新的图式知识,使图式知识相互作用,以提高医学专业英语阅读理解能力。

Abstract:The paper tries to explain the reading process with schema theory, and analyzes the reasons why medical students cannot understand specialized English correctly. It explores the application of schema theory to medical English reading and proposes ways to apply schema theory in medical reading teaching: during the teaching process, the teacher should try to activate students' schema in their mind to improve their specialized English reading ability.
