| Abstract: | Thallium is a typical toxic element. Thallium pollution in ecosystems occurs extremely throughout the world. A review is given on thallium pollution and its impacts of ecological health including thallium geochemical properties, environmental distribution, biological toxicity, and the symptoms of acute and chronic thallium toxicity in human beings, and also the clinical methods to diagnose and treat thallium toxicity were presented. |
