| Abstract: | Clinical, biochemical and pathological studies in patients with the Rett syndrome (RS) are presented. The neuropathological changes and alterations in neurotransmitter markers are particularly interesting and provide valuable information that may be helpful in understanding the behavior and neurological phenotype of RS. |
