Abstract: | We present a 3-year review of clinical paediatric experience with the Statscan (Lodox Systems, Johannesburg, South Africa),
a low-dose, digital, whole-body, slit-scanning X-ray machine. While focusing on the role of the unit in paediatric polytrauma,
insight into its applications in other paediatric settings is provided. |
