Quantitative Measurement and Comparative Analysis of Finger-Pressing Manipulation Kinetic Parameters

Objective: To provide a basis for quantification, standardization and clinical teaching of finger-pressing through the quantitative measurement and comparative analysis of the kinetic parameters of the manipulation, and by observing the difference of the manipulation among different groups of operators. Methods: MFF multi-film pressure measurement system was applied to detect and record the dynamic figure of the manipulation among three groups of operators with different years of Tuina practice, and the corresponding parameter data were saved and analyzed. Results: The mean force of the finger-pressing manipulation in the undergraduate group was as follows: mild (5.99±2.47) N, moderate (14.54±3.38) N and strong (23.57±6.31) N;in the postgraduate group was as follows: mild (12.60±2.08) N, moderate (22.45±3.36) N and strong (36.43±5.07) N;in the teacher group was as follows: mild (14.42±1.45) N, moderate (28.81±2.77) N and strong (43.48±3.94) N. In terms of the comparison of the same force type in the student groups, the average force of the boys was greater than that of the girls in the same group;the average force of the boys in the postgraduate group was greater than that of the boys in the undergraduate group and the average force of the girls in the postgraduate group was also greater than that of the girls in the undergraduate group. Conclusion: The difference of the finger-pressing manipulation can be seen by using MFF multi-film pressure measurement system. The individual difference is small in the teacher group, the strength is more stable and lasting, and the grasp of mild, moderate and strong strength is more accurate.
