中国近代创办最早的药科学校——浙江广济药学专门学校考述

通过梳理研读《广济医报》等史料,厘清浙江广济药学专门学校的历史沿革、师资、课程、历届学生人数及服务社会等情况,认为该校以培养药师为主要目标,课程理论与实践相结合,重视药房实习,学生因具有较强的调剂药品能力,除少数人自行开业外,大部分在上海、杭州、绍兴等大中城市的药房、医院及军警系统任药师、药局或制药部主任等职,半数以上获得卫生署颁发的药师证,部分升任药房经理或创办药厂,从事药品销售和生产。中国最早一批药师多为广济药专所造就,该校在中国教育史、药师史上,占有不可或缺的地位。

Research on the Earliest Pharmaceutical School in Modern China-Zhejiang Kwang Chi Pharmaceutical School

By sorting out historical materials such as Kwang Chi Medical Journal, this paper clarifies the basic situation of Zhejiang Kwang Chi pharmaceutical school′s history, faculties, curriculums, student enrollments and performance for serving the society. This paper confirms that the school regarded pharmacist cultivation as the main objective, combined course theory with practice, and attached importance to pharmacy internships. Since graduates had skill ability to dispense drugs,most of the them were pharmacists, directors of pharmaceutical departments in pharmacies, hospitals and military or police systems in large cities such as Shanghai, except for a few people to set up their own businesses. More than half of graduates were licensed pharmacists of the department of health. Moreover, those competent graduates got the promotion to pharmacy managers, established pharmaceutical factories, or engaged in drug sales and manufacture.Most of the earliest pharmacists in China were cultivated by Guangji Pharmaceutical School. The school occupied an indispensable position in the history of Chinese pharmacy eduction and pharmaists.
