Analysis of high risk factors of HSIL in patients with ASCUS by ThinPrep cytology test

Objective:To explore the high risk factors of high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion(HSIL)and above in patients with atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance(ASCUS).Methods:A total of 1074 gynecological patients in Zhengzhou University People's Hospital from July 2018 to November 2019 were selected who were ASCUS cytology and high-risk human papillomavirus(HPV)positive,and colposcopy+cervical biopsy were carried out in all patients,and the clinical data of all patients were analyzed statistically.Result:Among 1074 patients,there were 13 cases of cervical cancer,accounting for 1.21%,180 cases of HSIL,accounting for 16.76%,275 cases of LSIL,accounting for 25.61%,606 cases of chronic inflammation,accounting for 56.42%.There were statistically significant difference in the HPV16/18 positive,menopausal,pregnancy times,abortion times between≥HSIL group and≤LSIL group(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that HPV16/18,menopause,pregnancy times>2,abortion times≥2 were high risk factors for HSIL and above in ASCUS.Conclusions:HPV16/18,menopause,pregnancy times>2 times,and miscarriage times≥2 times are high risk factors of HSIL and above in ASCUS.
