Abstract: | Transplanted brain tissues are unlikely to become completely integrated into a mature host brain. This places a limitation upon the types of neuronal circuitry that brain grafts can be used to repair. Brain disorders that may be repairable by brain grafts are those with a loss of unidirectional inputs to anatomically restricted brain regions. |
