Abstract:	Background and aims The best treatment of patients with advanced colorectal cancer at the time of diagnosis is not well known, and the medical treatment is still unsatisfactory.Case presentation We report the case of a patient showing a complete remission of primary tumor after medical therapy with CPT-11 plus capecitabine.Discussion The best management of advanced disease at first presentation is discussed.
