Abstract: | Summary Two G-6-PD deficient children with typhoid fever complicated by acute haemolytic anaemia are reported. One of them had the
rare complication of haemoglobinuria. The role of typhoid infection versus chloramphenicol treatment in causing haemolysis
in G-6-PD deficiency is discussed.
