hMAM mRNA在乳腺癌组织中的表达

The Expression of Mammaglobin Gene in Breast Cancer

Objective To determine the possibility of detecting hMAM mRNA expression as a marker of micrometastasis in breast cancer.Methods Total RNA was extracted from a breast carcinoma cell line (SKBR3),44 primary breast carcinomas and corresponding normal tissues,and 25 other carcinomas(including gastric carcinoma,esophageal carcinoma,lung carcinoma,ovary carcinoma and carcinoma of the large intestine) and was analyzed for hMAM mRNA expression by RT-PCR method.The relationship between clinicopathological charactristics of the patients and the results of RT-PCR was analyzed statistically.Results hMAM mRNA expression was detectble in SKBR3 cells and in all 44 breast carcinomas but was not in other cancers.In the analysis,hMAM mRNA levels were increased in 56.82%(25/44) of corresponding normal breast tissue(P>0.05).And there was no expression in other cancers.There is obviously different between breast cancer and other cancers in the expression of hMAM gene(P<0.01).There was no relationship between the expression of hMAM gene and stage,statuses of ER and PR of patients(P>0.05).Conclusion hMAM mRNA is a special marker of the breast tissue and that may be a marker of micrometastasis of breast cancer.
