乳腺癌易感癌基因BRCA1与p53的免疫组化研究

Immunohistochemical Study of BRCA_1 and p53 Protein in Breast Cancer

Objective To explore the role of the breast cancer susceptibility gene BRCA 1 in familial breast cancer and the relation between BRCA 1 and p53.Methods The levels of BRCA 1 and p53 protein were detected by immunohistochemistry in 84 breast cancer paraffin-embeded blocks.Results The rate of BRCA 1 expression in familial breast cancer and non-familial breast cancer was 61.9% and 11.9% respectively.The rate of p53 expression in familial and non-familial breast cancer was 40.5% and 26.2%.In familial breast cancer cases with BRCA 1 expression,the rate of p53 expression was 57.7%,while non-familial breast cancer with BRCA 1 positive reaction,it was only 40.0%.Conclusion The mutation of BRCA 1 plays a major role in familial breast cancer.And the mutation of BRCA 1 have relation to the mutation of p53.The mutation of p53 is probably a necessary step in the mutation of BRCA 1.
