Promoting medicine with medicine and accelerating the development of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine: an interview with Academician LIU Changxiao

Academician LIU Changxiao believes that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) research not only brings TCM to the world,but also makes the cause of integrated Chinese and Western medicine full of vitality. However,there are many problems in the development of TCM,such as urgent establishment of quality standards,lack of resources,shortage of talents,and need to establish an effective platform. Academician LIU believes that with the support and help of national policies,we should try to solve the above problems,standardize quality standards and the production development based quality markers of TCM,promote the introduction of TCM on the world,and further promote the development of integrated Chinese and western medicine.
