精神科住院病人死亡原因及其变迁

为探讨不同年代精神科病人住院期间死亡原因及其变迁,对我院1958年～1997年期间住院病人26014例中死亡的133例作回顾性研究。结果,总死亡率0.51％,有逐年上升趋势。躯体疾病是主要的死亡原因(33.9％),其次的死亡原因为自杀(23.3％)和并发症(21.8％)。自杀死亡逐年下降。并发症死亡有上升的趋势。说明,40年来我院的诊疗水平有了一定程度的提高,但医院管理水平、医疗质量还有待于进一步的提高。

Death Cause and Its Change of In-patient Patients of Psychotic Department

The retrospective studies were made in 133 death cases selected from 26014 admitted patients from 1958 to 1997 years in our hospital to inquire unto the death cause and its changes of admitted mental patient at warying years. It was found that the total death rate was 0. 51% which showed rising trend year by year. The main cause was somapathy (37. 9%);the second cause was suicide (23. 3%) and complication (21. 8%) , suiciding death decreased year by year, while death of complication showed rising trend. These showed that the level of diagnosis and treatment had certain rising during past 40 years, but the level of management and medical quality need to further raise.
