脑室腹腔分流术治疗老年性特发性正常颅压脑积水的疗效观察

目的：探讨脑室腹腔（V-P）分流术用于治疗老年性正常颅压脑积水的临床效果。方法回顾分析2005年7月～2012年6月收治的42例老年特发性正常颅压脑积水患者，所有病例均采用V-P分流术治疗，并随访0.5～2年。结果半年后随访的总体有效率达92.9%，1年后随访的有效率为90.5%，2年随访的有效率为85.7%。结论 V-P分流术是老年性特发性正常颅压脑积水的有效治疗方案，能明显缓解患者临床症状，提高生活质量。

Effi cacy Observations of Ventricle-Peritoneal Shunt Surgery for Treatment of Senile Idiopathic Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus Patients

Objective To observe and analyze the clinical effi cacy of ventricle-peritoneal （V-P） shunt surgery for senile normal pressure hydrocephalus （INPH） patients.Methods 42 cases of senile INPH patients admitted in our hospital from July 2005 to June 2012 underwent the V-P shunt surgery. The follow-up period was half a year to 2 years.Results The general effective rate at half a year follow-up time was 92.9%, and the effective rate at one year follow-up time was 90.5%. The 2 year follow up time the effective rate was 85.7%.Conclusion V-P shunt was an effective treatment for the senile INPH patients. The symptom of INPH patients was improved obviously and the quality of life was upgraded at the same time.
