Exploring a Combined Training of Clinical Pharmacists and Refresher Physicians in Cardiovascular Medicine

This article explored the effect of combined teaching of Cardiology refresher physicians and clinical pharmacists,introduced the traditional training methods of refresher doctors in the Department of Cardiology of Chinese PLA General Hospital,including strict three-level examination regulations,standardized teaching content,and consistent bedside teaching,and emphatically introduced the advantages of concurrent teaching with clinical pharmacists.By combining the typical teaching cases from March 2018 to March 2020,the teaching mode that the refresher physicians in the Department of Cardiology of Chinese PLA General Hospital were jointly trained with clinical pharmacists under the guidance of routine teaching was described in detail.Typical teaching cases included how to ask questions and explain clinical key points to refresher physicians,and clinical pharmacists provided detailed drug treatment strategies,especially drug interactions and possible adverse reactions.This joint training mode can not only help get rid of previous limited teaching mode for clinical pharmacists,enabling clinical pharmacists to be fully exposed to clinical practice,but also enable the refresher physicians to get rid of the simple mode of admitting patients and writing medical records,and further deepen the clinical application of drugs.The combined teaching of refresher physicians and clinical pharmacists can effectively improve their learning effect..
